Giorgio Vizia was born in Savona, Italy in 1978 and learned to cook from both his grandmothers Anna from Piedmonte and Cesarina from the Tuscan Riviera (Livorno town very famous for Cacciucco which is a seafood stew). He developed his culinary skills working with his mother Francesca who was a pioneer in the late 70s of modern northern Italian fusion cuisine.

Stecca Taverna celebrates the rich history and evolving landscape of food and culture born from the crossroads of Piedmonte and Liguria. The confluence of these two very influential regions leads to a fascinating blend of cuisine and culture and reflects a tapestry of tradition melded with modernity. The menu curated by Chef Giorgio features a delightful and refreshing variety of dishes which blend tradition with modern interpretation.
